Vincent Warner furrowed his brows, feeling naturally unable to thank Kai Jacobs."Was it him who brought you over here in the first place?"

Stella Charlie glanced up at him: "What do you mean by ’brought’? He helped me secure a spot to study abroad, I came willingly."

Vincent Warner: "Why did he help you so much? Isn’t it because he likes you? Just because you don’t feel that way doesn’t mean he doesn’t."

Stella Charlie looked off into the distance at Vincent Warner waiting outside the company, and with a light smile, she answered the boss: "We haven’t discussed that issue yet."

In her heart, she had concerns; going back meant she would have to give up her promising job and start over.

If her relationship with Vincent Warner was without problems, she felt she could make some sacrifices for this marriage.

But now she hadn’t gained approval from Vincent Warner’s family yet, and since they were his closest kin, if his mother refused to accept her, she didn’t know what Vincent’s final choice would be.

"I’ve been considering expanding into the Chinese market, and I’ve done some preparation work before. Now that you’ve married over there, you can continue working with us."

The boss humorously replied, "You’re indeed worth it. You’re a rare talent, and I’m always worried someone might poach you, but hasn’t Mr. Warner already stolen you away?"

"You’re the one paying my salary, you’re more important than him."

"Alright, you two hurry up and go on your date; my new boyfriend has also asked me out to a movie. If it’s good, I’ll recommend it to you."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

After waving goodbye, Stella Charlie walked straight toward Vincent Warner’s car.
