"I think it's just that you're sexually frustrated..."
"Where? Wait, look, isn't that her?"
A figure emerged from the mansion, but the dim streetlights could not illuminate her body clearly; only her outline was vaguely visible.
Shirakawa squinted and gazed into the distance. He saw a girl dressed in a standard sailor uniform, a short skirt that reached her knees, white sneakers, and her hair was tied up in a small braid. She was looking around for something.
"Is it her?"
"Hard to say."
Shirakawa wasn't sure.
I knew that her body was completely under the light of the street lamp.
With fair skin and features that combine the angularity of a foreigner with the understated elegance of an Asian woman, she wears light makeup that blends perfectly. Her short, wavy blonde hair is styled into braids, with only a single highlight that stands out strikingly. The silver cross on her chest gleams under the streetlights.
It's Jackie, that's right.
Only her hair would have those highlights.
Shirakawa rolled down the car window and waved.
Jackie then noticed, quickly walked over, opened the car door, and sat in the back seat.
"Xiao Bai, I really didn't expect you to pick me up in a car! Wow! This car is nice!"
Jackie looked at the black sedan.
"Why are you dressed like this today? I almost didn't recognize you."
"Hehe, surprised, aren't you? This is my first time wearing makeup in Japan, so cherish it while you can, because every look is one less time you'll see!"
"Alright, alright, let me introduce you first. This is Miike Naoko, my friend."
"Hello, I'm Jackie, and I'm temporarily Xiaobai's backup girlfriend." Jackie smiled and extended her hand.
Miike quickly turned around and reached out to shake hands.
What the heck is a backup girlfriend? Is she a backup option? This foreign girl willingly became Shirakawa's backup option.
Shirakawa, Shirakawa, you are truly a sinful man.
"Let's get going without delay, we can talk on the way."
Miike started the car.
Shirakawa explained all the precautions on the invitation to Jackie.
Miike Naoko also reviewed it once more.
"So, now we're going to buy the collar and mask?"
"Yes."
"So what should we do after we've infiltrated?"
Miike Naeko replied, "I have a miniature camera, and I will find a way to secretly record their crimes."
"I know, so you hand them over to the police, right? Arrest all these bad guys."
“Um…” Miike Naeko remained silent. In the past, she might have been able to do it, but now she didn’t know how to answer.
“Yes, that’s right, Jackie.” Shirakawa didn’t want Jackie to know too much about the dark side. “Once we’ve gathered enough evidence, none of these people will escape. But remember, when you go inside, concealing your identities and ensuring your safety are the top priorities. Nobody should take any risks, understand?!”
Shirakawa gave his instructions.
"Understood." Miike Naoko hated them to the core, but before she could bring them down, she had to protect herself first.
Where there is life, there is hope.
“Yes, sir! Commander Shirakawa.” Jackie gave a standard salute.
139. Secia, the Hunted One
Shirakawa found a small shop on his phone that sold masks and similar items, and then navigated to it.
Following the phone's navigation, Michi Mieko drove to the commercial street.
As they chatted, it didn't take long for Sanchi to let his guard down and quickly become familiar with Jieqi.
Shirakawa couldn't help but marvel at Jackie's incredible social skills; she could become familiar with anyone.
Arrived at the store entrance.
It's a gift shop, and the window displays small gifts like Valentine's Day crystal balls and color-changing teacups, as well as "romantic" trinkets such as small collars and handcuffs.
That's true, legitimate stores don't sell masks.
As soon as the three of them got out of the car, Shirakawa caught a glimpse of the bustling restaurant next door slowly changing, as if something was gradually appearing.
It was Secia's run-down general store.
The pedestrians around didn't notice anything, and the customers at the restaurant entrance continued to come and go as usual.
Cecilia opened the door, stretched out her hand, and beckoned Shirakawa to come over quickly.
"Hey, what's that?" Jackie pointed at the general store. "That's weird, why is this store next to the restaurant..."
From Jackie's perspective, the fact that the doors of the grocery store and the restaurant are so close together is quite illogical.
"What shop?" Miike asked curiously, as she could only see the restaurant there.
“That’s the store!” Jackie pointed to the general store that had appeared out of nowhere.
Having no other choice, Cecilia used her charm on Jackie in the store.
The cross on Jackie's chest swayed slightly, shimmering faintly.
So that's how it is. Is this Jackie connected to "those people"...?
Just as Shirakawa was wondering how Jackie could see that general store, Cecilia's voice came through his mind.
Hey, Shirakawa, could you get that Jackie out of the way? I need to talk to you urgently.
Can't you use your charm to seduce her?
Don't ask so many questions yet. Just get her out of here first, then come find me!
Strange, Cecilia just beckoned Jackie to leave at the general store, and she left shortly after...
Shirakawa, filled with doubt, began to deceive Jackie.
"Um, Jackie, could you help me choose a mask?" Shirakawa patted Jackie on the shoulder.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Oh dear, I have no taste and can't pick anything out. You're dressed so beautifully, you must have good eyesight. Could you please help me choose something nice?"
"I really can't help you, Xiaobai, let me help you pick one out." Jackie said proudly with her arms crossed. She was so pleased with Baichuan's praise that she lost her bearings. She ignored the strange general store and turned to walk into the gift shop to pick out a mask.
"Where are you going, Shirakawa? Aren't you coming with us?" Miike asked.
"I'm a little hungry, I'm going to buy some food. Just send me your choices on Line."
Shirakawa walked towards the Cecilia General Store.
"Okay, remember to bring me some bread or something too."
"Understood." Shirakawa left hurriedly.
Miike was about to enter the gift shop.
Just then, Jackie peeked out from behind the door frame, looking in the direction Shirakawa had gone.
Is he going to that strange shop...?
Jackie seemed to be deep in thought.
"What's wrong, Jackie?"
"Oh, it's alright, it's alright, Sister Michi, let's pick out masks together."
---
In the grocery store.
Secia sat on a wooden chair in front of the counter, biting her fingers, staring at the computer with a worried expression.
The computer screen displays Jackie's cross.
"How could this be? How did they get here? I've already come to this island, how could they still find me?" Cecilia muttered.
Shirakawa pushed open the door and entered.
"What's wrong? Why did you call me?" Shirakawa asked, looking at Cecilia's distressed expression.
“Now, I’m going to play a video from the computer. This is closely related to our fates, and I’m not kidding,” Cecilia said seriously.
Her scarlet eyes had lost some of their allure and gained a coldness, and her body was tense, giving off a completely different feeling from the alluring Cecilia who used to control everything.
"Okay, I understand. Go ahead and broadcast." Shirakawa was also startled by Cecilia's expression. If even Cecilia couldn't solve it, it must be a big deal.
Cecilia tapped a few times on her laptop, then twisted it so the screen was facing Shirakawa and started playing the video.
