Hogwarts: I've acquired the Father System

He could hardly imagine Dudley calling him brother.

He might go crazy.

But Darren was different. That soft, sweet voice calling him "brother" made him so happy he wanted to jump for joy.

"Darren, where did you live when you were little? Was it in the wizarding world?"

Harry asked curiously.

The house-elf who came to him only asked about his past, but didn't tell him about Darren's past.

When Dumbledore visited Aunt Petunia, he didn't mention Darren's past.

However, seeing Darren's elegant appearance, he never considered the possibility that Darren might have grown up in the ordinary world.

“I grew up in an orphanage. In late August of this year, Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape found me.”

Darren touched his red hair.

His single tuft of hair stood up stubbornly again after he pressed it down.

Harry glanced at him enviously.

I wish he had Darren's hair.

At least one strand sticks up, while his hair sticks up everywhere.

"That's so cool! My childhood dream has been to live in an orphanage. Isn't it a lovely place? Can I go back with you during my holidays?"

Harry asked in admiration.

Darren noticed that many eyes were secretly watching him at this moment.

Clearly, being around Harry meant attracting attention with every move.

A large portion of these people were worried that he would get angry because of Harry's words.

After all, the Hogwarts professors had gotten all the information they knew from Patchouli about Darren's life in the orphanage.

They're overthinking it.

Darren, of course, wouldn't get angry.

With such a great platform to showcase himself, he wished he could stay in the spotlight and be a saint free from all desires.

Does getting angry have any "saintly father" value?

It's not even worth a single hair.

So he tilted his head and thought for a moment, then said:

"Probably not. When Professor Dumbledore brought me out, he paid Mrs. Linda a large sum of money."

"If we go back, Professor Dumbledore might have to hand over all the money in our vault before Mrs. Linda will let us out."

His tone was calm, without a trace of gloom.

He even made a joke at Harry's expense.

This made many professors, who were worried about his anger, turn away in shame.

[bite……]

Another wave of "Saint Father Values" has been earned.

Darren felt it was worth it.

He earned three thousand Father Points after spending the afternoon with Harry.

He originally wanted to increase his "Holy Father" value again.

But the owl has arrived.

About a hundred owls flew into the Hogwarts Great Hall.

At first, Darren had only seen this scene in a novel and didn't think much of it.

After visiting the site several times, his only feeling was one of awe.

So spectacular.

It's just a little regrettable.

Because his Carol never brought him anything.

Even if Carol were a phoenix... no, a featherless turkey.

He is currently being cared for by Patchi.

Patsy seems to have said that she brought Carol to the old house.

It is said that the first wife of the Potter family will "train" him before releasing him.

As Darren was thinking, he saw an owl swooping straight at him.

He was startled, but he immediately realized that the owl was aimed at Harry, who was standing next to him.

It flew over to Harry, dropped a note, then affectionately pecked Harry's ear before flapping its wings and flying toward the jam.

"Hedwig prefers to eat that."

Harry said shyly.

After saying that, he remembered that Darren didn't even have a pet, so he thought for a moment and asked:

"Darren, what kind of pet do you like?"

Chapter Fifty-Six: Potions Class

Although Harry felt that after seven years of schooling with Darren, the remaining money in the vault should be spent sparingly.

But they wouldn't be so stingy as to not even be willing to spend the money to buy a pet.

Even if his Hedwig was paid for by Hagrid.

"Me? I don't like keeping pets."

Darren shook his head; he still had only one idea.

One pet that eats plain rice is enough for a family.

"dislike?"

Harry shook his head. How could that be?

Darren is such a gentle person, he must really love pets.

He recalled hearing the news from Slytherin House afterwards.

Darren seems to really like the tabby cat that Professor McGonagall has turned into.

It is said that he even got into a fight with Malfoy because of this.

Maybe he should buy Darren a cat?

Darren could use Hedwig to deliver the letter; he might need a pet cat to keep him company more.

That way he wouldn't be all alone in Slytherin.

Harry sighed.

He didn't understand why the Sorting Hat made that decision.

They insisted on putting him and Darren into Slytherin.

He was lucky enough to escape, but Darren did not.

He sighed and opened the note.

The top part is a bunch of messy handwriting.

Dear Harry,

I know you don't have classes on Friday afternoon. I wonder if you could come over around 3 pm.

I'd love to know how your first week went. Oh, and bring Darren with you, poor thing, I only noticed him when school started.

Hagrid.

Harry shouted excitedly and handed the note to Darren.

Darren nodded obediently after reading it.

“I would love to go.”

"That's great!"

Harry borrowed paper and pen from Ron and wrote on the back of the note: Darren and I would love to. See you this afternoon.

Then he urged Hedwig to quickly relay the message to Hagrid.
