Chapter 77 The World of LEGO Bricks - 4
Chapter 77 The World of LEGO Bricks - 4
After carefully examining all of Elimoro's memories, Vega discovered that Heaven and Hell were also built from blocks, and that Mephisto, Zandkil, Uriel, and other demons and angels were all in the form of block figures.
In Elimoro's memory, it was created by God himself, and there were fragments of it contacting God, but God's figure did not appear in the memory.
If Vega can confirm that Elimoro's memories haven't been tampered with, then it's quite interesting that in those memories, Elimoro's interactions with God are like a delusional performance directed at thin air.
Is it that the God of this universe is so powerful that He leaves no trace in anyone's memory, or is this powerful being simply unwilling to let Him see Him in His blocky form?
It's so hard to guess...
At the same time, through Elimoro's memories, Vega gained a deeper understanding of this world.
The art style of this world looks funny and childish, but the hidden dangers in this world are no less than those in other worlds.
Having confirmed that no important information had been missed and learning that Robbie Reyes was a qualified Ghost Rider, Vega used the Phoenix Force to erase Elimoro's soul. Vega then erased the mark Mephisto had left on the Spirit of Vengeance Core, imprinted his own mark, and re-infused the absorbed Hellfire into the blank Spirit of Vengeance Core. Finally, he stuffed it back into Robbie Reyes' body, binding it to Robbie Reyes' soul.
Robbie Reyes has a soul. He became Ghost Rider not because of Mephisto's scheme, but because he met his predecessor Johnny Blaze when he was on the verge of death. Johnny Blaze put the vengeful spirit Elimoro into his body in order to save him.
The instant the pure spirit of vengeance bound itself to Robbie Reyes's soul, raging hellfire engulfed his entire body, and he was passively transformed while unconscious, before opening his eyes and waking up.
"What... what happened to me?" Robbie Reyes looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings with a blank expression. When he saw Vega, the memories of losing control and being beaten came flooding back to him.
Robbie Reyes was shocked and immediately suppressed all the hellfire. Then, "Ouch! That hurts!"
The next moment, his brain received pain signals from all parts of his body, and Robbie Reyes immediately grimaced in pain.
"Sorry, I was a little too rough with him just now." Vega apologized as he cast a healing spell on Robbie Reyes.
A vibrant green energy enveloped Robbie Reyes's blocky body, which was covered in tiny cracks. Robbie Reyes groaned contentedly, and within seconds, all the cracks on his body disappeared.
"Wow, that's amazing. What kind of ability is that?" Seeing that Robbie Reyes had returned to normal, Black Widow lowered her guard against Vega.
Loki, speaking on Vega's behalf and offering insincere flattery, said, "This is a healing spell. It's an extremely difficult spell to learn; even I, the greatest sorcerer in the Nine Realms, couldn't master it."
"Shut up." Vega glared at Loki with annoyance. If you can't flatter someone, then shut up. Healing spells aren't exactly common, but when did the learning threshold become so high?
Robbie Reyes: "Thank you. I'm sorry, I didn't expect Elimorro to lose control."
Fortunately, Vega was very powerful; otherwise, he would have gone mad if he had killed an innocent person while out of control.
Vega: "It's okay, I've taken care of this problem for you. From now on, you'll never lose control again."
Robbie Reyes exclaimed in surprise, "Is this for real?"
"Of course, huh?" Vega was about to explain when he suddenly noticed something was wrong and turned to look at the opening of the teleportation channel. A tall mech missing its right arm walked in, followed by a blue block figure and dozens of gray block figures holding guns.
Vega didn't recognize these people, and Loki, following his gaze, teleported away in fright, while Black Widow exclaimed, "Thanos!"
"Hmm?" Vega looked at the gold and blue mech, and then saw a purple cylindrical head through the gold helmet.
This is what Thanos looks like in this universe? He's actually quite cute.
Thanos, wielding his ship-slaying sword, blocked the teleportation portal, roaring, "Loki, you thief, where did you hide my Infinity Gauntlet?!"
Black Widow pulled out her pistol and said angrily, "I knew Loki was up to no good!"
"Grab them and force Loki out!" Nebula, the blue block man, ordered, and then led the attack on Vega and his two companions.
One after another, purple energy bullets were fired from those toy-like little pistols. The scene looked hilarious, but Vega didn't dare to be careless at all. He raised his left hand, gripped the Holy Shield, and released a Holy Light Shield Wall to block it.
Vega: "Thanos, can we talk?"
Thanos looks quite adorable, but his words are incredibly cruel: "Fine, make that thief Loki return my wireless gauntlet, and I might leave you with a whole corpse!"
Vega: "Ha, if that's how you put it, then we have no choice but to fight you to the end."
Thanos sneered, "Hmph, a bunch of ants, kill them!"
"Hey, if there's anything we can talk about, we can sit down and communicate properly. Why do we have to resort to force?" Vega put on a little show, and with a thought, a pair of golden wings appeared on the back of his mech. Then, the next moment, beams of golden light shot through the shield wall and towards Nebula and the Zeta Rex soldiers.
The two sides were too close together, and apart from the battle-hardened Nebula who narrowly escaped, all the other Zeta Swiss soldiers were hit.
The Zeta Swiss soldiers exploded into numerous small fragments, which fell to the ground momentarily and vanished silently under Vega's watchful gaze.
Vega's heart tightened at the sight. How could this be? The fragments had vanished right before his eyes, and he hadn't noticed anything amiss.
Why do the block figures disappear after they die? How do the fragments disappear? Where do they go?
No one could answer the questions in his mind. What seemed abnormal to Vega was perfectly normal to Thanos and his allies.
"You're asking for death!" Thanos was furious when his minions were wiped out in one move. He stopped blocking the spatial portal and instead charged towards Vega with the long legs of his mech.
"Leave Thanos to me, you two deal with that blue block." Vega gave the order while casting a spell on himself to increase his speed and strength before charging towards Thanos.
The two charging forward quickly collided, with Thanos swinging his sword and Vega raising his shield to block.
The powerfully swung sword struck the shield with a dull thud, and Thanos, caught off guard, was sent flying by the recoil.
Vega looked surprised: "Huh, how come...?"
