Chapter 46 Duel and the 4th Floor Corridor

Chapter 46 Duel and the 4th Floor Corridor

No sooner had Malfoy finished speaking than a beam of red light shot out from the shadows, accompanied by a furious shout of "Fainted!", heading straight for his face.

He hurriedly dodged, bumping into the prize display case with a loud noise. The impact hit his bone, making Malfoy grimace in pain.

But he quickly got up: "Grinning widely!" "A big stick stuck in my front teeth!"

He remembered Vio's words and immediately retaliated by using two minor curses.

Although he didn't know Ron's exact location, one spell hit the counter and shattered the glass, but another spell struck a human body!

Malfoy was overjoyed and unleashed another minor curse to outline the human body.

Vio and Percy, standing to the side, both frowned, not because of the two weaklings pecking at each other in front of them.

Rather, it was because Ron's Stunning Spell didn't match his combat skills. Although the Stunning Spell was very immature, as if he had only recently learned it, a wizard capable of using a Stunning Spell shouldn't be hit by a trick used by Malfoy that couldn't even be considered a spell!

In particular, Ron was still hiding in the shadows, and Malfoy's little curses were not very skillful and had many loopholes.

More importantly, both of them are first-year students; one uses tricks, and the other uses a stun spell.

So, is the Weasleys' youngest son a one-trick pony who excels at learning spells...? Vio thinks he should go ask Ryan if Ron wrote him a test paper during the Adventurers' Club's assessment, and see what Ryan's evaluation of Ron was.

Harry stared wide-eyed at the occasional bursts of red light. They were supposed to be good roommates, and they had agreed to be slackers together, but in the end, he found out that he was the only real slacker!

Ron, you've been secretly getting extra lessons, haven't you?

Hermione's eyes were full of disbelief. She hadn't even learned the spell yet, and someone who couldn't even learn the Levitate Charm in Charms class had learned it?

While Malfoy and another man engaged in a fierce battle, the others had their own thoughts.

Just then, a meow interrupted all their thoughts.

Mrs. Lorris!

Filch is on his way!

"I'll let you off this time, Weasley!" Seeing this, Malfoy stopped using Minor Curses to suppress the attack and took two steps back. "Vio, Filch is here. We need a Disillusionment Charm!"

"Filch is here! Run!" Ron suddenly shouted and rushed out, making a loud noise that Filch, who was still on the second floor, heard.

Everyone was shocked, but how could they not see that Ron had done it on purpose, pointing out the location to Filch!

Percy's face had long since become a palette of colors tonight, the kind used by someone with absolutely no artistic talent, but seeing his good brother turn around and betray everyone present, he couldn't help but say, "I swear, I will definitely write to Mom and Dad."

"Good idea." Vio nodded. He was good at using the rules to create room for maneuver when the situation was unfavorable. He had been thinking about how to wipe out his opponents and teammates as soon as the door opened.

Even though his teammates included his brothers and friends.

"What a promising talent from Slytherin... no, Azkaban. For such a talent, there are probably no brothers or friends, only servants and subordinates." Vio exclaimed, even in Slytherin today, such a talent is rare.

He subtly waved his wand, and an invisible wave locked onto Ron's location.

"Come closer, everyone. I'm going to cast a Disillusionment Charm on you." After he finished doing all this, he prepared to run away with his men.

Under Vio's illusion spell, the group moved stealthily amidst Filch's delighted cries.

Hermione's heart was pounding. She was walking in the middle of the group when she turned around and saw that Mrs. Lorris was following behind the Weasley twins.

Moreover, Filch's footsteps had already reached the third floor!

She whispered, "Senior Vio, Mrs. Loris has been following us the whole time!"

Vio turned around and saw Mrs. Lorris gently twitching her little nose: "It must have smelled something. George, Fred, what did you bring?"

Everyone turned around and saw that Mrs. Lorice was not only flustered, but was even about to breathe out!

Filch's lantern appeared at the top of the stairs. "Which student has broken the rules this time? The principal is good in every way, but he's too lenient with these students. We should use all the instruments of discipline!"

"Chains, handcuffs, ropes, whips..." He stared intently, searching carefully, while imagining himself using various instruments of torture to punish the little wizard.

He saw Mrs. Lorris breathing heavily and immediately strode toward the group of people.

Vio began to consider whether to simply take Filch down, but Ryan had always held the Hogwarts staff in high regard, and even though Filch and he didn't get along, Ryan had never secretly harmed him...

Snapped!Snapped!

Two loud popping sounds followed, accompanied by an astonishing stench.

The Weasley twins then smugly declared, "It's a little surprise for Filch, of course!"

"Take this dung flick!"

Vio was very impressed with their actions, and he quoted Ryan's advice from years ago: "Conserve your strength and roam to attack: When the wind blows, get out of here!"

Then he led everyone toward Ron, whom he had marked.

"Take Filch out... that's a good idea. We can also check out what Ron's up to while we're at it."

He sensed that the mark he left on Ron had not returned to the Gryffindor common room, but had instead gone up to the fourth floor and headed towards the right-hand corridor.

This is exactly the place that Dumbledore claimed was extremely dangerous at the school's inaugural banquet, and that wizards who didn't want to encounter any misfortune should not go there!

The group rushed up to the fourth floor, and even Mrs. Lorris sprang up and fled in panic, leaving Filch, whose fantasies of torture instruments had been shattered by the dung bomb, roaring.

"Dung bombs! I must suggest to the principal that they be contraband! You just wait."

The corridor on the right side of the fourth floor, near the entrance.

"That was so exciting! Thank you to everyone who helped me out." Harry gasped for breath. He had been caught off guard when he ran up to the fourth floor with Vio and was caught off guard by a suddenly disappearing staircase. Luckily, someone pulled him out of the way.

"Potter! If I'd known it was you, I wouldn't have pulled you." Malfoy was extremely arrogant, his smooth hair seemed to shimmer. He would never say that he had instinctively reached out to pull Harry back after seeing him slip and fall.

Even though he is resting with his hands on his knees, he cannot lower his posture.

Throughout his life, Malfoy was second to none!

"Where...where are we?" Percy asked, clearly in poor condition tonight. He was panting heavily as he spoke, making one worry about what kind of ordeal he had suffered.

"The entrance to the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."

"The right-hand corridor on the fourth floor... the right-hand corridor on the fourth floor!" Percy recalled what the principal had once said: "I remember the principal joking with us, saying that those who don't want to meet with misfortune should not enter."

"A joke?" Vio asked with a playful tone.

"Isn't that right? If there were any problems, he should at least talk to a prefect like me!" Percy puffed out his chest, wearing a prefect badge on his chest.

"Prefect, putting aside the fact that at Hogwarts, a prefect changes every two years at most. Just considering magical skill and credibility, if there were anything truly important, would a prefect have the right to know?" Vio shook his head and chuckled. He realized that among the people he knew, Percy was the one who valued official position and power the most.

He recalled what Ryan had told him: "Don't chase after external things, Vio, we are wizards."
