Chapter 24 Tyrant, G2 William, Ida
Chapter 24 Tyrant, G2 William, Ida
Li En was facing the corridor.
The right thumb rests on the side of the detonator button.
The corridor was already shrouded in a huge shadow, which swallowed up half of the natural light from the walls.
The tyrant emerged from around the corner.
The distance between my head and the fire sprinkler pipes on the ceiling is less than a fist's width.
The trench coat had long since rotted into strips hanging from the shoulders and waist, revealing grayish-white skin.
The muscle bundles bulged out from under the skin, and the texture of the muscle membrane was magnified clearly under the sidelight of the emergency light.
He remained expressionless, his eyes unmoving.
The oppressive feeling came from the direction of the door frame, and suddenly there was a layer of static electricity adsorption sound in the air.
The tyrant turned his face toward Li En.
He began to accelerate, the soles of his tin boots crushing two glazed tiles on the corridor floor, fragments bouncing off his heels.
He raised his hands from his sides, and leaned forward at such an angle that any normal human being would fall on the third step.
The moment you step into the pre-designated area of the corridor.
Li En pressed the detonator.
boom.
Three sets of alcohol bottles on the ceiling exploded simultaneously, and the corrosive agent and industrial alcohol mixed together to form a mist of flames that filled the entire cross-section of the corridor.
Orange-yellow flames poured from the ceiling to the floor and then rolled back up to the ceiling. The sprinkler pipes burst collectively under the high temperature, and the fire curtains and burning chemicals mingled together, turning the corridor into a horizontal combustion chamber.
The tempered glass door shattered into pieces under the impact of the heat wave, and the glass shards flew out and hit the control panel on the other side with a crackling sound.
The tyrant is right in the center of the flames.
The remnants of the trench coat were burned to ashes in a fraction of a second, and the skin began to blister. The gray epidermis turned white, then black, and then cracked under the high temperature.
He let out a low growl.
"roar!"
He didn't stop.
Engulfed in flames, he stepped out of the fiery corridor, treading over shards of glass, and with one foot inside the control room doorway.
The rubber soles of the boots had melted, leaving a trail of charred shoe prints on the cement floor.
Li En had already drawn his shotgun, holding it with both hands and resting the butt against his shoulder.
The tyrant's body was crossing the door frame, but his weight was still on the balls of his feet; he hadn't completed the transfer.
He pulled the trigger.
bang bang.
The deer bullets all penetrated the tyrant's chest at close range.
The lead pellet tore through the skin, which had already been brittled by the high temperature, broke two ribs, and flipped the pectoralis major muscle.
The tyrant took two steps back, his back slamming against the door frame, causing another layer of shattered glass to fall from the frame.
His chest was a bloody mess, but he didn't fall down.
He regained his balance and took another step.
Li En did not retreat, but pressed forward while fighting, from seven meters to five meters.
The gun barrel was lowered an inch, locking onto the tyrant's left knee.
boom.
After the knee joint was subjected to high-temperature burning, the synovial fluid in the joint capsule was evaporated. The ligaments and cartilage expanded due to heat and were then impacted by the stag bomb, causing them to break completely from the back of the patella.
The tyrant's left leg suddenly broke, his body lost its support, and he knelt on one knee.
When I knelt down, my kneecap hit the cement surface, creating a small dent.
He raised his head, and was at the same height as Li En.
"roar!!"
Li En raised the gun to level, aiming it at his face.
boom.
The deer bullet covered the entire face.
The tyrant's face instantly became pockmarked, his nasal bone was driven into his skull, his left eyeball burst, and half of his right eyelid was cut off by a lead pellet, leaving a layer of gray powder on the surface of his exposed eyeball.
Click click.
The magazine is empty.
Li En casually tossed the shotgun aside, pulled the Magnum out of its holster with his right hand, held the bottom of the grip with his left hand, and pointed the muzzle at the Tyrant's intact right eye.
At a distance of less than two meters, the crosshair was positioned inside the eye socket.
Bang bang bang.
The first bullet pierced the eyeball and struck the orbital plate of the frontal bone behind it, producing a series of muffled cracking sounds from within the cranial cavity.
The second bullet pierced through the already torn eye socket, passing through the optic chiasm and cutting into the sulcus between the parietal and temporal lobes of the brain. After exhausting its kinetic energy, it remained embedded in place without exiting.
The third shot hit the primer of the bullet embedded in the brain tissue.
Two .44 Magnum warheads exploded simultaneously inside the Tyrant's skull.
Brain matter spurted from his eye sockets and nasal cavity, splashing onto the door frame behind him. Grayish-white tissue fragments mixed with bone fragments stuck to it and then slid off.
The tyrant's upper body remained kneeling, pausing for a second.
Then, losing all nerve signals, the body flips backward, its arms outstretched as it crashes to the ground.
Those tin boots that once shattered the paving stones, their toes pointing upwards.
From the moment the explosion occurred until the tyrant fell, the clock's second hand moved less than thirty notches.
The glass door to the soundproof room was pushed open, and Annette stood in the doorway.
Her gaze passed over Li En's shoulder and landed on the tyrant's motionless body.
"This is Umbrella's T-00 model; they must have been tracking you."
"I didn't expect you to defeat him so easily."
The control room was quiet.
The emergency lights cast an oval-shaped white beam of light around the spot where the tyrant had fallen.
In the silence, Annette's voice carried a complex emotion that had been suppressed for a long time.
She was part of the design team for this creation and knew very well what T-00 stood for.
This biological weapon can continue to carry out orders even after being hit by a burst of rifle fire.
The man in front of them, who claimed to be an FBI agent, stood in the same straight line from the first trigger pull to the final shot, without retreating an inch.
Li En did not respond to her comments.
He flicked his wrist with his right hand, his thumb exiting the cylinder, emptying the three spent cartridge cases, and then took three new rounds from his waist ammunition pouch and pushed them into the chamber, returning the cylinder to its original position.
After the inspection was completed, the gun was put down and the muzzle was pointed diagonally at the ground.
Pat-pat, pat-pat.
A new sound came from the other side of the corridor.
My steps were irregular, sometimes heavy, sometimes light. When I stepped on the heavy ones, it felt like something sticky was pulling between my shoes and the ground, while when I stepped on the light ones, it was almost like I was just dragging my feet.
Interspersed with this was the sound of liquid dripping, the dripping speed was very fast, unlike water.
Li En turned around, pointing his gun towards the west corridor, and spoke coldly:
"go back."
Annette took a half step back and closed the soundproof room door again.
Shadows spilled out from the corner of the west corridor.
G2 William appeared from around the corner.
His body size had increased by at least twice as much since their first encounter.
The giant eyeball on the right shoulder is no longer simply an organ.
Its transformation resulted in a thick bone blade structure, the surface of which was covered with a layer of dark purple bone that was still secreting mucus, and the edge of the blade was covered with serrated bone spikes.
The left arm has atrophied but is still there, hanging on the left side of the body like a superfluous attachment.
A new opening appeared just below the chest cavity; it was a newly formed secondary opening. The upper and lower jaws were already functioning, but the teeth had not yet fully grown in, and the gums were turned outwards, opening and closing with each breath.
Half of William Birkin's face remained hanging on his left cheek, the rest squeezed below his ear by the newly formed tissue.
As his bone blade dragged across the ground, it scraped a continuous shallow groove.
Li En held a gun in his right hand and pressed his left hand over all the equipment on his body.
Two hand grenades and one flashbang.
There were no explosives; Magnum had already confirmed the power.
The .44 Magnum's warheads could only buy time due to the G-virus's regeneration rate.
I don't have enough ammo to kill this G2 form here.
He pulled out the grenade, yanked off the safety pin in one go, and flung it toward the west corridor. The grenade bounced twice on the floor tiles and rolled under William's feet.
Then he turned and rushed to the control panel, slamming his hand on the call button of the broadcast system.
"Ada, please help me!"
