Galactic Conflict: I Restore the Glory of Humanity

Chapter 1040 Battle between Titans

Chapter 1040 Battle between Titans

The sky was torn apart.

The Tyranid bio-warships burst through the clouds like giant rotting whales, sporangia bursting open in their bellies, spraying out swarms of millions.

The Hydra's anti-aircraft guns exploded in the air, and the blazing white barrage tore the swarm of insects apart, but more alien creatures fell under the fire.

They smashed into the hive's outer defenses, acid and flesh melting the steel into a boiling slurry.

A certain Astra Militarum company was hit directly. The screams of the soldiers were drowned out by the roar of the insect swarm. Fluorescent spores gushed out of their eye sockets, dyeing the entire position an eerie purple.

At this moment, a Thunderhawk gunship painted with the emblem of the Ultramarines Legion streaked across the sky, the roar of its engine drowning out all the sounds of the battlefield.

It pierced into the apron in the center of the hive like a sharp sword. The moment the landing gear smashed the ground, Calga led a dozen members of the Ever-Victorious Army out of the cabin door.

Their blue armour was stained with the blood of Chaos traitors, and scorching steam gushed from the vents of their power packs.

“Tell me about the situation.”

Calgar's voice came through the loudspeaker of the helmet, with unquestionable majesty.

A Space Marine Chapter Master stepped forward quickly, his armor covered with bullet holes and traces of acid corrosion: "My lord, the damn xenos are pouring in like a bonfire party."

"Zerg, Orks, and Chaos traitors, our Chapter has two companies of full members returning to the Golden Throne."

“Damn it.”

Calgar clenched his power gauntlet, and his knuckles made a sound of metallic friction.

Now, no matter which force it is, they are sending reinforcements to Alert Star. More and more warships of the Empire are using the Webway or the Space Bridge to attempt to participate in the Battle of Alert Star, but the Chaos enemy is also doing its best to disrupt the operation of the Space Bridge.

The two sides engaged in a fierce tug-of-war on the track, and neither side could gain a decisive advantage.

Karga strode into the command post. Several Astra Militarum generals were about to kneel down to salute, but he raised his hand to stop them: "This is a critical moment. There is no need to pay attention to etiquette. Tell me the situation on the ground battlefield."

"Yes, sir."

An Astra Militarum general stumbled to open the holographic projection, and slid his shaking fingers on the console. "The Zerg has landed on the west side of the hive, and our troops are resisting. The Orks are advancing towards the center of the hive from the east and south, and we have already repelled a group of Ork troops that had just entered the hive."

He called up another set of data: "As for the Chaos traitors, they summoned Titans to attack our hive. The void shields on our hive are resisting, but the energy consumption..."

Before he finished speaking, a deafening noise suddenly came from outside the command center.

The entire building shook violently and dust fell from the ceiling.

That was the sound of the rebel Warlord-class Titan's main gun bombarding the void shield. Energy ripples spread across the surface of the shield like a lake surface where a stone was thrown.

"The Zerg and the Orcs were attacking us and each other at the same time."

Calgar stared at the battle situation in the holographic projection, "Let those traitors worry about it. We should prepare to start the counterattack."

"Counterattack? My lord?" The Astra Militarum general looked up in disbelief.

"Yes, prepare for a counterattack." Calgar turned and walked towards the door of the command post. "I will mobilize the fleet in orbit and prepare for the bombing. At the same time, I will have a 10,000-man regiment of the Ultramarines deployed on the flank of the hive, and more Space Marines are on their way."

As he walked out of the command post, the sky was torn apart again. This time it was not the Tyranid biological warships, but the reinforcement fleet of the Imperial Navy that broke through the blockade.

The gunfire from dozens of Moon-class cruisers tore the Chaos warships in orbit into pieces, and more airdrop capsules fell like a meteor shower.

………………

The Emperor-class Titan "Iron Creed" appeared on the horizon with thunderous steps.

With every step, the ground trembled, and the giant iron feet crushed everything in its way, whether it was the orcs' garbage fortresses or the endless Tyranid swarm buildings, all turned into powder under its feet.

The Rebel Warlord-class Titan "Wrath of Blasphemy" sensed the threat and slowly turned around. Blasphemy runes flowed on the surface of its armor with a strange purple light.

This Chaos-corrupted war machine is covered in twisted spikes, and the vortex turrets on its shoulders emit a shrill scream as they rotate, as if mocking the beliefs of the Empire.

Its main gun began to charge, and the warp energy gathered at the muzzle to form a twisting vortex.

The "Iron Creed" launched the first attack.

A blazing white beam from its plasma incinerator severed the Profane Fury's right arm at the shoulder.

The severed arm smashed to the ground, crushing the battling Chaos Space Marines and Tyranid Warriors.

The Rebel Titan stumbled back, leaving smoking craters in the ground with every step.

The "Profane Fury" was not to be outdone. Its vortex turrets fired dense subspace energy bombs, causing ripples on the void shield of the "Iron Creed".

The two divine machines engaged in a shocking fight on the battlefield, and every collision caused an earthquake-like shock wave.

The surrounding buildings collapsed in the energy aftermath. Both the Empire's fortifications and the Orcs' garbage fortresses were reduced to ruins in their battle.

The Chaos Space Marines realized that the situation was not good, and they decided to implement a decapitation plan on the "Iron Creed".

A strike force of twenty Chaos Space Marines approached the battlefield silently, their power claws gleaming with Warp energies, ready to tear through the Titan's armoured seams.

"For the Dark Gods!"

The Chaos Lord raised his power sword high and led his men to charge at the Titan's foot.

Their plan was to exploit the Titan's visual blind spots, climb up its leg armor, and then destroy its core reactor from the inside.

However, just as they were about to approach their target, the sky was suddenly torn apart.

Thousands of Ork assault craft swooped down from the clouds, raining rockets down on the Chaos positions.

The greenskins shouted and charged towards the Chaos. They thought that as long as they drove away these troublesome Chaos shrimps, they could focus on fighting this big iron block.

"waaaaaaaaaagh"

Driving a battle truck converted from a church spire, madly ramming into the Chaos Space Marine formation.

"Damn you green bastard!"

The Chaos Lord roared, hacking apart an Ork truck with his power sword.

But more Greenskins came from all sides, their machetes and chainsaw axes leaving deep scars on the Chaos Power Armor.

At the same time, the Tyranid swarm also emerged from underground.

The Genestealers wielded bone blades and pounced on the Chaos Terminators.

Acid Blasters spray their enemies with deadly corrosive fluids, melting the power armour of Chaos Space Marines into scrap metal.

The Hive Tyrant let out a deafening roar, commanding the swarm to surround the Chaos Commandos.

The Chaos Space Marines were caught in a dilemma.

They had to deal with the orcs' crazy charge and the deadly attack of the Tyranid swarm at the same time, and the decapitation plan was completely disrupted.

The Chaos Lord watched helplessly as the Iron Creed knocked down the Profane Wrath, but was powerless to stop it.

A Warlord-class Titan is just a lamb in front of an Emperor-class Titan.

(Today I will update more. Tomorrow I will take a day off. I will go to the club to get my Midnight Lords and P Fearless)
